Below is a suggested schedule for learning at home during the weekdays. The 5th grade teachers recommend about 90 minutes to work on reading/writing, one hour for math, and 30-45 minutes for science learning. We will be providing specific activities in each subject for each day beginning March 30th. This information will be updated via the class website. Just scroll down to locate the tabs for each subject area. All activities posted and the responses to the teacher are optional. However, we recommend taking part in these fun learning experiences to be better prepared for middle school in the Fall.

A continuación se muestra un horario sugerido para aprender en casa durante los días de la semana. Here are some learning activities you can do at home to stay sharp:

Log in to RAZ Kids, choose a book, and read.
My teacher username is dperez49. Log in the same way we do at school.

You can also listen to the read alouds Featherstone teachers are posting on the school Facebook page.

Also, there are some wonderful read alouds of many cool books on  You Tube. Remember, So You Want to Be President?

Were you able to take home the blank book we all started? You can choose from these writing prompts or think of some of your own to do. Choose a prompt a day. Write and illustrate in this book or another notebook of your choosing.
